More Fun with Cut Paper

Good ol' paper and scissors like making snowflakes in grade school art class. I like to experiment with different folds...ie. I accordian folded with the folds converging on a point to cut the figures dancing in a circle. The decorative background was created using a french fold and diagonal fold combination. Nothing is drawn, it's just me, the paper, the scissors and Photoshop...and in this case, Planes, Trains and Automobiles on the TV.

Beautiful! The dancing figures remind me of Matisse cutouts. What a good idea.

I especially like the patterned paper and the layering.

Beautiful! There's something special about spirals and circles and this circle of people is a real dance. Lovely. Looks like a fun thing to do!

THAT is some good scissorwork -- and with no drawing lines??? The top one is my favorite, but I love them both.

These are really great, I like the way you have made the colours and figures sort blend into each other - rather psychadelic. On reflection I get feeling of being in (Voodoo?) trance.
