sketchbook 09 II

Obviously, subject matter is very random. Mostly done from photos, at night, in bed, with the TV on, with a candlestick, in the conservatory.

Sketchbook? These look like finished drawings to me. That top one just slays me. Magic. The ballerina babies delights in it's simplicity, while your reference to 'Clue' brought a chuckle.
All in all a delightful visit. Thanks so much.

These are fantastic! I love the bathroom perspective. Brought a smile to my face. Great work! I hope to see more of your work soon.

These are beautiful! I'm so glad to see that you are back drawing. I'm very partial to dance drawings and your little ballerina is my favorite.

I'd have to say the fire is definitely going.

Fabulous. Sorry to hear about your threshing accident ;-)

Dear Mrs. Peacock,

Sparky sent me. Sorry to hear about the threshing accident, but you seem to be doing very well with your hand. Actually, your work is great. I like all of these, but I'm partial to the bathroom. Welcome back.

very cool blog! Love your dancers and the way you carried the darks through some of them. I have a zillion, (well hundreds anyhow) reference photo's of little girl dancers I've been meaning to draw! How long have you had your card store? My sister just opened one. Any clues to success?

The first one is very powerful, you did a great job capturing the emotion of their faces.
