GLORIOUS!! It isn't just the CUTS (which are wonderful in themselves) - but the colors and their gradients that bring the entire piece together!

It starts with restless hands, usually when I get into bed (I get restless legs, too)...so I reach for my handy-dandy scissors and whatever paper is close by...this time it was from a quadruled pad. Then I fold ze paper ala kindergarten-style, sometimes adding or changing a fold as I go along...and just cut cut cut...and voila! Then, I scan & open in Photoshop and adjust brightness and contrast if necessary, so I can magic wand select negative, positive shapes...and begin to work with them on layers using various levels of transparency, color, scaling and rotation. It's all experimentation. The most difficult part is knowing when to stop! Thanks for asking...and thank you all for your generous comments!
