IF Chair

This Friday (tomorrow 2.10) is our 2 week anniversary as NY’ers...and this is my first post since our move. This is from one of last year’s sketchbooks (searching madly for a chair just to get something posted before the new word tomorrow). We had to leave "Twinkie" behind in Cincinnati with our daughter since I thought the move to NY would be too stressful for her, since she’s 13 years old...and her last move across town was an event to remember. And that’s all I’ll say about that. The chair, however, made it to NY just fine.

This is such a mellow drawing. The expression on Twinkie's face is perfect...my cats get that look when they're zoned out on the couch...not asleep but just in their own inner world. This is really wonderful, from the technique to the subject:>

Hey! You will LOVE NY. Get upstate once in a while.
It's funny, but us upstaters (well, I use to live there) didn't really think of the city or Long Island as such a big part of the state, but most people don't even realize how much NY there really is!
You are a truely gifted artist BTW. Not to mention sensative pet owner! GREAT qualities I must say!!
