New Work

This is a pastel done from one of my favorite photos of one of my favorite cats, Twinkie, who is no longer with us. Neither is the bush.
This picture was taken on Sanibel Island. (Pastel)
Another from Sanibel. Wish I was there right now!
This lone bloom against the Long Island Sound background caught my eye...and captured the mood of the day.

Pastel is a medium that I have a great deal of difficulty with. So admire these, especially your depiction of the sea.

Nelly -- when I opened up your picture and saw this cat, it brought tears to my eyes -- it is so much like my Sunshine (gone also) -- MERCY, it's AWESOME! LOVE the others --but this one went straight to my soul!

WOWZUH! Quite realistic and very inspirational. At first I wasn't sure if I was looking at photographs or your art work. The snow on the tree, the bird from Sanibel...and as others have said, the water, all gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your work.
