I painted this from a selection of photos taken at the house in West Hampton, Long Island where we were visiting friends; Larry was on the beach giving an art lesson to two budding artist grandsons, while I was preparing a pedestal table to be painted. This particular photo captured the wonderful sunshine flooded deck behind the house, with "grandfather" enjoying the ocean side ambiance. It was a wonderfully therapeutic day! Oil on 24" X 18" canvas

House Commission
Still trying to break through the longest lasting "block" I've ever experienced. I've devolved into such a "survival" mode that motivation tends to come from a client deadline, and the just-in-time check, instead of the creative passion and self confidence that used to make painting so easy & satisfying. Time is running out...hope "it" comes back soon! Thanks for looking.
